Add USB Charging Ports to Any AC Outlet - louisterew1970
Most modern smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, and otherwise gadgets rely on USB-based chargers. Extraordinary of these go with their own Ac wall adapters, while others include nothing more a USB cable–meaning you have to plug them into your PC to get them charged. (I'm thinking in particular of Amazon's entry-tier Enkindle.)
In both cases, charging gets to be a hassle. You've either got bulky, subfusc AC adapters cluttering up your outlets, or you're leaving your PC running 24/7 just to pull charger obligation.
That's wherefore my new favorite token is the RCA USB Wall Plate Charger. A "Best of Innovations" honour winner at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, the Wall Dental plate Charger is unquestionably an idea whose time has come.
Unlike some twin USB outlets I've seen, this one requires no wiring. That's because IT doesn't take the lay out of an existing AC outlet, but rather plugs into one. (Information technology's literally a plug-and-drama solution.)
The Wall Plate Battery charger gives you one AC socket and 2 USB ports–the latter fit to charge two smartphone-size devices simultaneously. You can likewise plug a tab into the 2.1-amp take down porthole, which supplies enough succus to explosive charge those larger batteries.
I just picked up one of these, and IT's fantastic. I've old it to charge an iPad and iPod Touch at the same time, and it worked like a charm. And although you yet possess wires wending from your wall, at least you're rid of those ugly wall-verruca adapters.
The RCA USB Bulwark Plate Courser has a list price of $19.99, only Lowe's currently sells them for $14.99 (plus sales taxation, natch). In spades a worthwhile buy, in my humble opinion.
